In brief: An adult controls the family account and purchases. Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled. A trial, if offered and accepted, converts to the paid plan shown at checkout. Deleting an account or app does not cancel a store subscription.
1. Your agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to Dorola's website, applications, lessons, and related services (the "Services"), provided by Navari Navian LLC ("Dorola," "we," "us," or "our"). "You" means the adult account holder or other person legally able to enter this agreement. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for authorizing and supervising a minor's use.
By accepting these Terms or using the Services where acceptance is required, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Services. Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices; accepting these Terms does not replace a separate consent required by privacy law.
2. Adults and learners
An account holder must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to enter this agreement, or be older if local law requires it. A parent or legal guardian may create and manage learner profiles for children for whom they have authority. Children must not create independent adult accounts or make purchases without adult authorization.
Provide accurate adult account information, use a strong password, and keep sign-in credentials and Parent Space access details private. Learner nicknames are encouraged; do not enter unnecessary sensitive information. Share learner connection codes only with the intended learner or responsible guardian. You are responsible for use you authorize through your account and should notify us promptly of unauthorized access. You are not responsible for losses that the law assigns to us.
One Dorola membership includes up to five learner profiles in the same Dorola family space. Supported app versions let an adult purchase and use lessons without registering an email account. Guest family management is protected by a parent PIN; registered parents use their account password. Creating an email account is optional and enables adult sign-in and family access on other devices. Each learner has separate progress and can connect using a parent-created family code. This is not Apple Family Sharing or Google Play Family Library.
3. Learning services
Dorola provides informal language-learning activities, including vocabulary, listening, speaking practice, and progress reports. Content, features, and supported devices may differ by version, region, and plan. Announced or preview features are not a promise of a release date.
We aim to make lessons useful and accurate, but translations, pronunciation, and AI-assisted recordings can contain errors or reflect language variations. Reports describe activity within Dorola; they are not accredited qualifications or a professional assessment of fluency. We do not guarantee a particular learning outcome. Parents should choose an appropriate pace and supervise young learners.
4. Subscriptions and trials
Learning in the Android, iPhone, and iPad apps requires an active subscription, an eligible active trial, or access expressly granted by Dorola. The website provides product information and samples, download information, legal pages, email verification, and account recovery; it does not provide a signed-in learning service. The purchase screen identifies the plan, currency, price, applicable tax treatment, billing period, access limits, and any offer. Review these details before confirming. The store's localized checkout terms control the transaction.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically for the displayed billing period at the applicable renewal price unless you cancel through the purchasing store before renewal. A monthly plan bills monthly. An annual plan bills the full annual amount, not monthly installments. Choosing annual billing without a trial starts the annual charge immediately; choosing an eligible seven-day trial starts annual billing after the trial. Monthly billing starts immediately and renews monthly.
Free trials and introductory offers
If you are eligible and accept a seven-day free trial of the annual plan, access is free for those seven days and then converts automatically to the annual subscription price shown at checkout unless you cancel in time. A trial is not available to everyone and does not automatically apply to the monthly plan. Eligibility, start and end times, and any limits are determined by the offered product and purchasing store. The store may require a payment method before a trial starts.
Promotions, coupons, credits, and other offers apply only as expressly stated in their offer terms and where supported by the purchasing store. They cannot be assumed to combine or continue indefinitely. We may change future offers or pricing with any notice and consent required by law and the store; changes do not authorize retroactive charges.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel through the Apple or Google account used to purchase, before the trial or current billing period ends. Follow the deadline displayed by the store; for an Apple free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends if you do not want renewal. You can use available subscription-management links in Parent Space or the store directly:
Cancellation normally stops future renewals while paid access continues to the end of the paid period, subject to the store's rules. Trial access may end earlier when canceled. Uninstalling Dorola, deleting a learner, or deleting your Dorola account does not cancel a store subscription. Account deletion is available independently of subscription cancellation.
Refunds and any statutory withdrawal rights are governed by applicable law and the purchasing store's policies. Contact the store for a store-billed refund and contact us for help locating the correct process. Nothing in these Terms removes a mandatory refund or consumer right. Restore Purchases, where available, requires the relevant store account and a valid purchase; it does not create a new subscription. A store restore recovers eligible paid access, not private learner records from a lost guest session. Adding an optional Dorola account before changing devices helps preserve access to the same family and learning history.
6. Permitted use
Subject to these Terms and any applicable store license, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the Services for lawful learning. You may not:
- Access another family's information, impersonate another person, or bypass account security, parent controls, or payment restrictions.
- Distribute malicious software, interfere with availability, or use unauthorized automation to overload or extract the Services.
- Copy, resell, publicly redistribute, or commercially exploit lessons, recordings, artwork, or other protected material without permission.
- Reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections except where applicable law or an applicable open-source license expressly permits it.
- Use the Services to violate law, infringe others' rights, harass someone, or upload material you lack permission to provide.
Reasonable restrictions do not prohibit rights that applicable law protects. Report security concerns privately to legal@dorola.com.
7. Content and ownership
Dorola and its licensors retain their rights in the software, trademarks, lesson materials, recordings, and visual assets. A subscription purchases access, not ownership of these materials. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.
You retain rights you hold in information and content you provide. You authorize us to process it only as reasonably needed to operate the Services, respond to requests, and as described in the Privacy Policy. This is not a right to sell children's information or publish private learner profiles. Optional local voice practice does not grant us ownership of a learner's voice.
You may voluntarily send feedback. We may use suggestions to improve the Services without an obligation to compensate you, but personal information in feedback remains subject to the Privacy Policy.
8. Privacy and permissions
Review the Privacy Policy for data processing, children and parents, providers, retention, and privacy rights. Microphone access and reminders are optional. Manage device permissions and available parent controls at any time. Do not provide another person's information without the required authority or consent.
Optional personalization, reminders, and home-screen widgets may display learner information on a device or lock screen. Choose settings appropriate for a shared device. Internet connectivity and device or carrier charges are your responsibility.
9. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update lessons, fix errors, and change features as the Services develop. Maintenance, network problems, and third-party services may interrupt availability. Where a change materially reduces a paid service, we will provide notice and any remedies required by law or the purchasing store.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a material Terms violation, fraud, a security risk, or a legal requirement. When appropriate and legally permitted, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Contact us to question a suspension.
You may stop using the Services and delete your account. Relevant privacy obligations, payment obligations already incurred, ownership provisions, and lawful liability or dispute provisions survive termination. We will give reasonable notice of a material Terms update where required; a new consent will be obtained when legally necessary.
10. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis without promises of uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose beyond any express commitments and mandatory legal guarantees.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Services. Our total liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions; in that case the applicable legal protections remain in force.
11. Apple App Store and Google Play
Store downloads and transactions are also subject to the relevant store's terms and usage rules. For an Apple-distributed app, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a separate custom license is expressly supplied in the App Store. These Terms describe Dorola's service terms and do not purport to replace that store license.
Navari Navian LLC provides Dorola and its support, not Apple or Google. Store payment, refund, cancellation, and platform rights remain governed by the applicable store agreement and law. Apple and Google do not sponsor or endorse Dorola. Store availability may vary; this page does not announce that a store release is available.
12. Disputes and general terms
Please contact legal@dorola.com so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, seeking urgent relief, or exercising a statutory right.
Subject to mandatory laws and any controlling store-license provisions, these Terms are governed by Texas law, without its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes concerning these Terms may be brought in courts with jurisdiction in Texas. If consumer law entitles you to the protections or courts of your home jurisdiction, those rights are not restricted. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. Our delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or this agreement without our consent, except where law permits; a permitted transfer of our business remains subject to our obligations and your legal protections. These Terms and applicable purchase terms are the agreement about the Services and do not override mandatory rights.
